Wrinkles
Although wrinkles and fine lines are a part of aging, they frequently affect how we feel about our appearance. These lines can make us look older or more tired than we actually are, whether they are the result of years of sun exposure, facial expressions, or a loss of collagen. At Ocean Dermatology, we use the latest laser technology and injectable treatments to smooth out fine lines and deep creases, giving your skin a renewed, youthful, and bright appearance.

Static Wrinkles
These result from less elasticity and the takeover of gravity. Wrinkles that come with jowls are static.
Dynamic Wrinkles
These develop from repeated facial movements. They can become static wrinkles over time.
Sun Protection
The most effective way to prevent wrinkles is by protecting your skin from the sun. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and avoid tanning beds.
Healthy Lifestyle Choices
Eat a balanced diet, stay hydrated, lower alcohol consumption, avoid smoking, exercise regularly, and manage sleep and stress.
Skincare Routine
A solid skincare routine helps maintain skin elasticity and reduce fine lines. Using moisturizers, retinols, antioxidants (like Vitamin C), and peptides can reduce wrinkles.
Professional Treatment
Dermatological treatments can reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture. Laser treatments promote collagen production and enhance skin elasticity.
Avoid tanning or heavy sun exposure, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, and avoid deep facial peel procedures for four weeks before to treatment. Do not wear makeup, lotion, oils, perfume, or sunscreen to your appointment unless told otherwise.
You should see an immediate difference in your treated skin. Take care of your skin with the directions given to you by the doctor. Your skin may continue to improve up to a year and the improvement may last for several years. Normal aging will eventually lead to new wrinkles, which can be treated with again. You should avoid the sun as much as possible and apply sunscreen every day.
Most patients describe a sensation of heat during laser treatment, and we use topical numbing cream or local anesthetic to help with discomfort
