To minimize the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding blood-thinning supplements for one week prior to treatment (unless prescribed by your doctor). Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your visit, skip harsh skincare products like retinols for 2 days, and arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
The duration depends on the product used and the treatment area. Fillers generally last between 6 to 18 months. Areas with more movement, like the lips, may require touch-ups sooner than more static areas like the cheeks or chin.
Most modern fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to maximize comfort during the injection. To ensure the process is as painless as possible, we also offer topical numbing cream and cooling techniques.
